Keppel Pools is an independent, family-owned and operated company, run by Kim and Margaret Salmond. Over the last 30 years, Kim and Margaret have listened to our customers’ questions and taken each piece of feedback on board. Through this ongoing process of improvement, we’ve ended up with what we think is one of our biggest strengths: the way we work.
Because we do everything from start to finish, you’re able to choose exactly what you want, from custom water features to bespoke tiling around the pool. For more information on our inclusions and options, please see our Features & Options page.
Once your pool is delivered, we’ll have it installed in 8 days. Additional fencing can take longer based on our suppliers’ lead times. During installation, we’ll usually provide safety fencing and take every precaution to make sure you and your family are kept safe during the build.
We fully honour our manufacturer’s 25-year warranty on the pool itself, and offer a 5-year workmanship guarantee on the installation, concreting and everything else. Please see our Quality Assurance page for more information
When you choose Keppel Pools, you’re choosing an independent, locally owned company that is committed to giving the Capricorn Region the best possible service at the best possible price.
Certified for quality and guaranteed to last.
Keppel Pools supplies and installs fibreglass pools manufactured by Barrier Reef Pools, an Australian company with a stellar reputation for high-quality products and craftsmanship.
The only fibreglass pool manufacturer in the country to hold the Australian Standards 5 Tick certification, Barrier Reef Pools offer a 25-year warranty on its pools – and we at Keppel Pools also offer a 5-year warranty on all workmanship.
The 5 Tick certification is awarded as a result of careful assessment of a company’s manufacturing processes and procedures, and covers areas such as:
Clear and standardised procedures for each manufacturing stage of Barrier Reef pool shells.
All materials are rigidly controlled to meet performance specifications, including gelcoat, resins, glass, reinforcements, and fittings and fixtures.
The manufacturing process is monitored at every step, from preparing the mould to full production, detailing, inspection, temperature control, and transport to the building site.
Comprehensive testing and quality control is performed, including visual checks, ultrasonic hardness checks, and thickness and rigidity tests.
Every pool is embossed with a unique 5-digit serial number to enable identification and tracking throughout the pool’s life.
